What Is COVIDSafe App?
The COVIDSafe app is an Australian Government initiative that will enable the Health Authorities to make contact with COVID-19 “at risk individuals” in a much more timely manner. As such it will assist in reducing the spread of the virus and allow the government to lift restrictions whilst keeping us safe.
The download and use of the app is completely voluntary. If you choose to download and use the app you will be providing protection and faster treatment if needed for your family, friends, work colleagues and other Australians you may have been in contact with.
The message from the government is “ the more Australians connected to the COVIDSafe app, the quicker we can find and stop the spread”
